“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20 – 21)

These two verses are my ALL-TIME favorites. They encompass praise and glory to the Almighty God, as well as reflection of His character and ability to surpass our limited understanding. We tend to want something that we see, and it becomes a desire of our heart, but when we don’t receive what it is we want, we manipulate to try to make things happen in our favor. Our emotions begin to lead us because we forget to aim our focus on God, not the situation. These verses serve as an awesome reminder that even when we don’t get what we want, as children of God we will get what we need because He sees beyond what we can see and wants to bless us in such a way where we receive more than what we could’ve ever asked or thought (NO manipulation necessary). Our God is limitless, and we need to stop asking for small things when He can do the IMPOSSIBLE. I mean we serve the same God that parted the Red Sea for Israel – there’s nothing He can’t do. We serve the God who has authority over EVERYTHING, the Author of it all and He’s moving things around in OUR FAVOR!

So, when the enemy comes towards us to discourage us and causes us to lose our faith and trust in God, let’s remind ourselves of Luke 10:19 which says, “See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.” Exercise that authority! Rebuke any and all feelings of doubt and discouragement. The enemy might be powerful, but our Father is ALL-POWERFUL. Set your mind on the promises of God in His Word. Praise Him in advance for your breakthrough. He always stays true to His character and is faithful. Truly faithful, indeed. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, You are awesome! I can’t thank You enough for Your works in my life and the lives of my brothers and sisters. Help us to remember to not limit Your abilities with our limited understanding. I will ask You to do the impossible because You are in the business of working miracles. I am forever grateful not because I am worthy, but because of Your Son who died on the cross to give us this opportunity to approach Your throne. In Jesus name I pray, amen!
