There is not a word that God speaks which isn’t true and has no effect (Isaiah 55:11). Whatever God purposes to do, He does exactly as He says He will – not leaving a “t” uncrossed or “i” undotted. For this reason, any promise God declares over your life, will come to pass. It may not happen at the exact moment that He tells you or it might happen at the same moment, the timing is up to Him. One thing we know for certain is that whatever the declaration, it’s going to happen. What I love about God, is that when you have a relationship with Him, He reveals His promises to you and sends confirmations regarding what He’s spoken through signs or other saints (Psalm 25:14). That’s how much God cares about us, that He won’t leave us astray, confused, and in doubt. All we must do is trust His word, and trust that He is faithful to fulfill all His plans for us. Do not allow your faith to be tossed to and fro by the waves when you’re confronted with an obstacle, if God convicted you of something.
What are you believing God for today? Has He spoken to you? “Test the spirit”, in other words, test the declaration that was made by asking God to convict you through means of a sign or His Word – He will. He will give you a confirmation if the promise is truly of Him. No matter what, if you have faith in God, trust the outcome to Him. Know that whatever the result is, it will be exceedingly and abundantly more than you could’ve ever asked or thought (Ephesians 3:20-21). God loves us, and He considers all the small details when mapping out His plans for us – He’s amazing.
Dear God, You are faithful to do exactly as You say You will. Help me to be sensitive to Your Spirit and understand what Your promise is over my life. I want to be fully surrendered to Your leading and obedient to what You desire for me. Transform the desires of my heart to be in line with Your will for me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!
